T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus users can now download the latest Android OS version 4.0.5 Ice Cream Sandwich update for their devices. The Android 4.0.5 also known as Software T869UVLG7 can only be downloaded via Samsung Kies. T-Mobile Ice Cream Sandwich update for Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus was supposedly to be released last month but it came out one month late. Nevertheless, it is still a good sign rather than having none at all. The part where I mentioned that the Android 4.0.5 Ice Cream Sandwich update will only be available through Samsung Kies and not through OTA or over-the-air simply means that you have to connect your slated device unto your computer via a USB cable. Then you have to download and install the latest Samsung Kies application (please see link below this article). Once you have done this, let your computer detect your Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus in order for you to proceed with the update.
This is the part where I always remind each users that before they do anything on their Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus or any devices, a backup should be done. Especially when updating a device’s firmware or operating system, you can never know what could possibly happen to your data within your device.
