How To Hard Reset Samsung Exhibit 4G SGH-T759 (T-Mobile)

This is a quick guide on how to reset your smartphone and this procedure is intended for Samsung Exhibit 4G SGH-T759 (T-Mobile).  According to PC Mag‘s about this smartphone is “Samsung Exhibit 4G is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a fast, capable, and relatively petite smartphone on T-Mobile.” And this smartphone sports Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, said to show true 4G data speeds, built with fast CPU, and a stunning battery life. What’s the cons? The screen is a little small for typing and the camera isn’t that good.

Before we proceed you have to read this disclaimer first especially if you’re NEW to this kind of procedure. Disclaimer: This process or procedure will wipe out all the stored data on your phone such as contacts, messages, pictures, etc.  If possible, please backup all of these important data before resetting your smartphone.

To Restore or Reset Your Smartphone to Factory default from Menu Settings:

– From your Main Home screen,
– Tap Menu
– Tap Settings, then Privacy
– Tap Factory data reset
– Tap Reset phone
– Tap Erase everything to confirm

If the above option does not work, you may try the following – Hard reset through pushing the buttons simultaneously:

– First turn power off or pull the battery out and reinsert it back again
– Hold the Volume Down button then Press and release the Power button
– the device will boot into recovery mode
– Just select Wipe data/factory reset.

The above procedures are options if you’re having issues with your Samsung Exhibit 4G SGH-T759 such as freezing applications, hanging on Welcome Logo or because of some sluggish application causing your phone to hang.

If somehow the above steps doesn’t work at all,  maybe it’s a different issue and I recommend you to have your phone checked by a certified technician or hand them over back to your retailer for them to check.
